Asian Grub Foundation was
an idea by Kate and Manjit,
a couple with a love for
curries and festivals.
After working and attending festivals for a few years it came to their attention that there was no place to
get a good traditional curry from.
With that in mind and the fact that curry is the nation's favorite food they setup The Asian Grub Foundation.
As Manjit comes from a Punjabi background and grew up on his mum's food there was only one style of curry to serve - traditional Punjabi style! Recipes and methods which he learnt growing up and passed on to his partner Kate, Asian Grub Foundation serves up a variety of dishes.

As well as your traditional meat dishes (chicken & lamb) Punjabi food we have a large range of vegetarian food with a big emphasis towards pulses and beans (lentils and chickpeas), using fresh ingredients locally produced and traditional spices.
Our mobile kitchen provides freshly cooked (on-site) quality curries, snacks and Punjabi drinks to the nation at private & public events. |
We pride ourselves on providing a good service with high quality fresh and tasty traditional curries - there's no vindaloo here.
We have two ways we can cater at your event:
- straight out of our mobile kitchen
- or we can set up a Indian marquee
We have a couple of different sizes which we can use depending on how much space is
available at your event.
Using the marquee we can provide a relaxing atmosphere where the
festival goers can come and relax
on low level seating with music, projected images and ambient lighting.
